Success Stories:
In the first edition of the newsletter, I'm thrilled to share my labeling journey with you, including the creation of Labelbase.
BIP-329 and the Birth of Labelbase
Proposed by Craig Raw, the creator of Sparrow Wallet, BIP-329 marked a significant milestone for Bitcoin label and coin control information management. Officially merged on January 17, 2023, this proposal set the stage for a new era for labeling and coin control information management.
Now that we finally have a standard, I immediately got to work and developed a platform for managing labels, a concept I had in mind since the beginning of 2022. Within a month, I released the first version of Labelbase.
Thanks to a grant from OpenSats, the core system underwent a major overhaul. This included integrating automatic synchronization with Electrum and Mempool, as well as enhancing the user interface and experience.
During this period, I've implemented and released a Python library, python-bip329, which provides a set of tools for working with BIP-329 compliant label files.

Tips and Tricks:
Just do it. So simple as it sounds. Just do it, even if you feel like you don't need it today. Reconstructing missed labels is extremely time-consuming and sometimes impossible. A single mistake can compromise your privacy.
Naming Convention: Take your time to develop a naming convention and stick to it. This practice makes it easier to find labels and brings order and structure to your Labelbase.
Community Spotlight:
Recently, Wicked published a guide detailing the process of importing a wallet from a Coldcard into both Sparrow and Nunchuk, along with instructions on exporting and importing labels in these wallets.
Your experience with Labelbase and its features is my top priority. If you ever find yourself in need of assistance or have any questions, I'm here for you.
Here are your options to get in touch:
Email: Feel free to reply directly to this email for any support-related queries. We aim to respond promptly to address your concerns or feedback.
Live Chat: The support chat is embedded directly within Labelbase. Open your profile on the top-right, then click on "Support Chat" to load the 3rd-party integration.
Thank you for being a valued member of the Bitcoin and Labelbase community.
See you next month!
Xavier
P.S. If you have any feedback or suggestions for the newsletter or the platform itself, I'd love to hear from you. Your input helps improve and tailor the Labelbase services to your needs.
P.P.S. Take care of your labels, and your labels take care of you.

Dear Labelbase Community-Member,Hello and welcome to the fifth edition of the Labelbase newsletter! Let's dive into this month's highlights! Current Ideas and Thoughts: Most wallets nowadays still label the address or the transaction of the UTXO, but not the unspent transaction output itself, which is unfortunate. If an UTXO is spent, it becomes the input. This input should also be labeled accordingly. The concept of the "Project Management Triangle", often described as "Fast, Good, Cheap –...
